LUAP takes the December 2021 cover of Style Magazine, published with Corriere della Sera in Italy, with The Pink Bear at the centre of an issue dedicated to the extraordinary.
The cover story places LUAP and The Pink Bear at the heart of the final Style Magazine issue of 2021. In an interview with Pier Andrea Canei, LUAP discusses the personal experiences behind his practice and the journey that led to the creation of The Pink Bear.
The feature traces the figure back to a childhood memory and explores how it developed into a recurring presence throughout LUAP’s work. Moving across Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Performance and Installation, The Pink Bear became a way of examining memory, psychology, vulnerability, connection and the experiences that shape identity.
