LUAP’s The Unconscious Therapy is featured by The Mayfair Musings as Great Portland Estates transforms 95 New Bond Street into an immersive exhibition during Frieze London 2021.
Taking over all three floors of the 6,000 sq ft former retail space, the five-day exhibition brings together Painting, Photography, Installation, sound and film around LUAP’s recurring figure of The Pink Bear. The programme includes a room covered entirely in magenta pink fur alongside previously unseen work.
The feature also explores the partnership between LUAP and Great Portland Estates, positioning the exhibition within a wider attempt to rethink vacant retail space and bring new cultural experiences to New Bond Street. It follows an earlier pop-up by LUAP at the same location and expands that relationship into his largest solo exhibition to date.
