Recollection Of Innocence for Street Children in Nepal

LUAP revisits Recollection Of Innocence, originally created as a large-scale Mural in Germany, for a limited-edition scarf made with SKOG42 and Mala & Mad to support children in Nepal.

Three years after creating Recollection Of Innocence as a large-scale Mural for SKOG42 in Karlsruhe, LUAP has returned to the work in a new form.

The original image has been adapted for a limited-edition scarf produced with SKOG42 and Mala & Mad. Proceeds from the edition will support projects working with children living on the streets in Nepal.

For LUAP, the collaboration offered an opportunity to take an existing artwork beyond the wall and work with the image through a completely different material and scale. The scarf retains Recollection Of Innocence while allowing the work to exist as something that can be worn and carried.

The edition launched in Karlsruhe during the Festival of the Southern Forest Road. The Pink Bear joined the evening at SKOG42, while the making of the original Mural was projected outside alongside the new work.

Most of the edition sold during the launch, raising funds for the project in Nepal.
