LUAP’s Watercolours often begin as studies for larger Paintings, allowing ideas around composition, colour, atmosphere and gesture to be tested before they develop at scale. They offer a more immediate view into the working process, capturing the transition from initial image and idea through to a more resolved painted form.

While closely connected to larger works, the Watercolours retain their own presence as finished pieces, revealing a quieter and more intimate side of LUAP’s practice.
