FLO London speaks with LUAP about the development of The Pink Bear and a practice spanning Painting, Photography, Sculpture and travel, following the launch of the four-metre Pink Bear Pavilion in Hamburg.
The interview moves from the childhood memory behind The Pink Bear and LUAP’s experience of depression to the role of travel and Photography within the work. It also looks closely at the creation of The Pink Bear Pavilion, made from 2,500 kg of recycled plastic, and the seventeen LUAP Pink Bear Scholarships established with the University of Europe for Applied Sciences.
