LUAP is featured by Design Week for Helmets for Heroines, creating the one-off motorcycle helmet Ethereal Blossom for an auction raising funds for Breast Cancer Care.
Developed from the layered Acrylic and Aerosol processes of LUAP’s Decadence series, Ethereal Blossom was created alongside customised helmets by artists and designers including Sarah Maple, Dave Buonaguidi and Tim Rockins. LUAP’s involvement had a personal significance following the loss of his Nanna to breast cancer, with the finished work auctioned at Karmarama to help fund Breast Cancer Care’s support.
